Lenovo launched the ThinkPad T60 widescreen
Lenovo has just launched the latest ThinkPad notebook with a wide screen and is compatible with Windows Vista operating system.
ThinkPad T60 is equipped with a 15.4-inch display screen, but the device's weight is still only about 2.2kg - which is lighter than similar laptops of Dell, Apple, HP . use Intel Core 2 Duo processor and ATI graphics card.
Lenovo hopes the widescreen ThinkPad T60 will help it regain customer confidence after last September's battery recovery. In this phase, Levono had to recall a total of 526,000 potentially defective battery products manufactured by Sony.
Rajat Aggarwal, director of marketing for T-Series products from Lenovo, said Lenovo has launched wide-screen laptops - the Z-Series and 3000-Series. However, the ThinkPad T60 is the first widescreen laptop product for business users.
Besides the T60 widescreen user can also choose the version with 14 or 15-inch screen. However, Aggarwal said the demand for the widescreen ThinkPad T60 is much higher than the smaller screen version.
The manufacturer said the T60 widescreen has the ability to run Microsoft's latest operating system - Windows Vista.
The basic ThinkPad T60 15.4-inch screen is priced at $ 1,399. Users can also upgrade the system configuration to run Vista Premium.
Industry experts judge that although Lenovo has tried a lot, it is still far ahead of competitors in the wide-screen laptop market.
