Recently, the organization responsible for certification related to Bluetooth connectivity - Bluetooth SIG has introduced a new Bluetooth standard at CES 2020. The new Bluetooth standard will be called LE Audio, with many improvements including playable for many listeners, hearing aids, sound quality when transmitting better, connected to wireless headphones better.

Currently, Bluetooth can only transmit audio to one device. But with the Multi-Stream Audio feature in LE Audio, audio signals can be transmitted to many different devices at the same time and ensure consistent sound quality. This feature helps minimize latency when listening to music and allows users to use wireless headsets with multiple devices at the same time without interrupting and switching between devices.

The Broadcast Audio feature on the new Bluetooth standard also allows a device that doesn't need to be paired individually to listen to each other and still can stream music to an unlimited number of wireless headsets. This feature promises to bring a new experience for users when entering the cinema, the gym . instead of listening to the sound from the speakers, you can hear from the headphones.

Low Complexity Communication Codec - LC3, a decoder on the new Bluetooth standard that promises to help reduce power consumption while ensuring sound transmission quality.

The Bluetooth standard also supports hearing aids to help many people with hearing loss.

It is expected that Bluetooth SIG will finalize the new Bluetooth standard in the first half of 2020. After that, it will require mobile device manufacturers to comply. This means that it will not be until later this year or early next year that Bluetooth standards will appear on smartphones.
