IC443 has a spherical shape so it is also called the Jellyfish Nebula. IC443 is located in the constellation Gemini and is the remnant of the supernova explosion in the galaxy, a star may have exploded from 30,000 years ago.

In the picture there are many faint haze areas located at the top left of the jellyfish nebula. They are a cloud made up of many molecules of hydrogen and dust.

According to experts, what we are seeing is two nebula clouds overlapping. But from the photographer's perspective, Chris Heapy looks like a jellyfish's head (left) with another part like floating tentacles (right).
