Nomadic photographer John Thackwray has made a very interesting portrait project called ' My Room Project ' with 1,200 photos taken inside the bedroom of people all over the world, from bustling New York center to poor countryside in Nairobi.

This series of photos is the way Thackwray photography selects to understand the lifestyles of today's youth , especially those in the ages of 8x and 9x. This project was started by Thackwray from friends who lived in Paris and then around the world. Photographers and characters in the photo often have interesting small talk about politics, culture, education and relationships while shooting.
