The first prize at this year's competition is Yousef Al Habshi, an Arab photographer with a partial photograph of the eye of the red coconut beetle in Asia with an average length of only 11mm. Yousef Al Habshi took advantage of the contrasting light source and used the stacking technique to combine 128 images at the microscopic structure level to create this wonderful work.
