iOS 4.2 has just appeared that has been corrupted
iOS 4.2 has just been officially launched by Apple, and has immediately appeared an unnecessary error. Many people after upgrading the new version of iOS suddenly found all the files in the computer " lost missing " mysteriously.
In fact, these media files don't disappear, because users still see their memory capacity - 4GB, 8GB, or any other number. Re-synchronizing the device with the computer does not work.
Fortunately, there is a very easy way to fix this, and it does not require re-syncing everything from the computer back to the iPhone (a job that many people find frustrating). If you just upgraded your iPhone or iPod Touch to version 4.2 and received the " No Content " message, you can use the following method to fix:
1. Connect your iPhone or iPod Touch to your computer with the connecting cable, wait until iTunes recognizes the device.
2. When the device name appears in the iTunes interface (in the Devices menu on the left), click the arrow icon next to the device to display the media list.
3. Click on " music " to open the music menu, and select any song in your device and then run it.
4. Proceed to synchronize the device (this will not take long because the device already has media files, only the device cannot read them).
5. Disconnect the device from the computer and check the iPod library - now all music, video, audio books and podcast files will show up and work properly.
Tech Blog TechCrunch reports that this error has appeared on all devices running iOS 4.2. However, in some cases, it only affects the iPhone 4, not the iPhone 3G, 3GS or iPod Touch.
iOS 4.2.1 of Apple just launched the market one day and " caught up " successfully unlocked.
