Invite to experience fingerprint login feature on Chrome 70 beta
New users find that in the Chrome 70 beta version, there is a very interesting new feature, which is to support fingerprint login on the browser. With this feature, users will not have to use the method of manually entering account names and passwords as before but can use fingerprints to log in the site.
Web developers can also use this feature to implement API functions that enable two-factor authentication using fingerprint sensors instead of two-factor authentication via phone numbers.
In this test version, Google also provides Chrome with 70 features to login with iris or face via Use Screenlock. But it looks like this Use Screenlock feature is still in development.
Currently, users can download the Chrome Beta or Chrome Canary on the Play Store app market and visit https://webauthndemo.appspot.com/ to experience this exciting feature.
