Oppo Find N5 has officially launched globally.
Specifically, the Find N5 is the world's thinnest foldable smartphone when folded, measuring just 8.93mm when folded and 4.21mm when unfolded. Weighing 229g, the Find N5 is lighter than the bar-shaped flagship, which the company describes as providing a comfortable, secure grip and a natural user experience.
The design of the Find N5 is a combination of minimalism and luxury, when the flat edges are rounded, combined with the metal frame to create balance. When opened, the Find N5 has a main screen measuring 8.1 inches, the largest on the horizontal folding phone market, even larger than a tablet. When folded, the Find N5 is a thin and light smartphone with a 6.62-inch outer screen with a 20.7:9 ratio, and a super small fold of only 0.05mm.
Find N5 is the world's first foldable smartphone with IPX9 certification, which is water-resistant even at high temperatures, far exceeding the previous IPX8 standard. The device is protected by an Armor Shield structure, with a frame made from 7000-layer aluminum alloy, increasing durability by 30%, protecting the device better when impacted. The ultra-thin Nanocrystal glass helps the outer screen improve drop resistance by up to 20%.
The product also has a breakthrough improvement thanks to the new generation of titanium alloy bending hinge technology, 26% smaller and 36% stronger, providing outstanding stability when folding and opening. The Find N5's hinge uses grade 5 titanium, a high-grade alloy that is durable, lighter and more resistant to deformation than aluminum. 3D printing technology is used to manufacture the details, helping the hinge to have a perfect fit when opening and closing.
Not only that, the main bearing parts of the hinge are made of UHSS 2000 MPa super hard steel, which has a bearing capacity many times higher than that of conventional materials. This helps the Find N5 hinge to be highly durable and resistant.
Find N5 has achieved TÜV Rheinland Foldable Screen Certification - one of the most rigorous durability assessment standards on the market. The device is tested in many harsh conditions, from high temperature, high humidity to dusty environments, ensuring durable operation even after 10 years of use with a frequency of 100 folds/opens per day, according to the manufacturer's announcement.
The Find N5 is the world's first foldable phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The chip integrates the Hexagon NPU, which improves AI performance by up to 45%, and the second-generation 3nm architecture optimizes battery life. It has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
Find N5 is equipped with a 5,600mAh silicon-carbon battery, the largest in the foldable smartphone line. 80W SuperVooc super fast charging technology helps to fully charge in just 47 minutes, combined with 50W reverse charging for other devices.
In addition, Find N5 also integrates artificial intelligence (AI), including:
- - AI Search: Smart search, data analysis and solution delivery.
- - AI Call Summary: Summarize calls, create notes and plan actions.
- - Translation app: Real-time two-way translation and dual-screen interpretation feature.
- - AI Note Assistant: Summarize, edit, and expand notes.
- - AI Toolbox: AI language tools like AI Summarization, AI Smart Adjustment,…
- - AI Photo Editing: Photo editing tools such as AI Object Removal, AI Clarity Enhancement, AI Face Sharpening, AI Anti-Glare.

In addition, ColorOS 15 brings a new user interface, with features such as the Infinity Display for three-app multitasking, a large screen for smart split-screen. This equipment is optimized for foldable screens, taking advantage of the power of AI and a large foldable screen.
In particular, Find N5 also supports transferring documents, photos, and videos to MacBook at high speed. This feature even supports remote access, allowing Find N5 to remotely retrieve files on MacBook. The Tap to Share feature, which was introduced on the Find X8 series, also provides the ability to share and receive files with just one touch between Find X5 and iOS/iPadOS devices.
Find N5 is equipped with Hasselblad camera system including:
- - 50MP periscope telephoto camera: 70mm focal length, f/2.7 aperture and OIS optical image stabilization technology, allowing super close-up telephoto photography at a distance of only 10cm.
- - Ultra wide-angle camera: 8MP expands the viewing angle, providing panoramic frames.
- - 50MP wide-angle camera with OIS anti-shake.
