Install ChatGPT for Google Sheets

1. Open the official ChatGPT for Google Sheets setup guide and follow its link to Google Workspace Marketplace.
2. Install ChatGPT from the Marketplace listing and review the requested permissions.
3. Open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets.
4. Choose Extensions, open ChatGPT, and sign in with a supported ChatGPT account.

In managed workspaces, an administrator may need to enable the add-on or approve access before it appears.

What you can ask ChatGPT to do

• Explain formulas and trace errors.
• Clean inconsistent labels, formatting, or duplicate values.
• Create trackers, budgets, plans, and scenario tables.

Use it safely
