The iOS emulator app on Android.
There are several iOS emulators for Android that help you run the application. The most popular applications are Cider and iEMU. To run these emulators, you will need the following on your device:
- Minimum RAM memory is 512 MB.
- Android device version 2.3 and above.
- A considerable amount of free space on the device, for example iEMU is about 60 MB of space and Cider occupies about 12 MB.
Use iEMU emulator
iEMU is one of the best emulator programs to run iOS apps on Android. This application is easy to install and use.
Download the iEMU emulator.
If you download the apk file with your computer, you will need to transfer this file to your Android device. This application will take up about 60 MB of phone space.
Go to Settings on the Android device, then navigate to Security and enable Allow installation of apps from unknown sources.
Navigate to the location where the iEMU apk file is located and click to install.
After installing the emulator, check the installed applications. You will see there is an application called AIO Downloader . Click to select the application to run.
AIO Downloader will allow you to download iOS applications and run them with the emulator.
The only downside of this emulator is that it only supports files ending in .zip and .ipas.
Use the Cider app
Cider is an emulator that helps run iOS apps on Android developed by a group of students. Currently, this application is still in the research phase but it can still work well.
The first thing to do is to download the Cider apk file.
Download Cider apk.
When the download is complete, install it on your Android device.
Once successfully installed, click on the Cider application to launch. This will open the emulator, where you can download and run the iOS application. I tried and found that it works like on an iOS device.
The only downside of this application is that it does not support GPS, Bluetooth or any location services.
Thanks to the above applications, you can easily run iOS apps on Android devices already.
