Police officials said the Maryland bus driver was "suspended" after a video spread that he read the newspaper while driving a bus carrying passengers.
A Tweeter account named Myles Hill posted a video showing a driver reading a newspaper and driving a bus number 26 at College Park.
Hill said he and a friend were shocked to see this scene in the car.
" I asked my friend: 'Is the driver reading the newspaper?' and she replied, "Yes, that's right," Hill told The Washington Post.
The University of Maryland student said that the driver missed a stop because he was distracted by the paper.
Metro transport spokesman Dan Stessel said officials had identified the driver's identity and gave him a break to conduct an investigation.
Dan Stessel also shared, the current name of this irresponsible man is not disclosed in accordance with local law's privacy policy.
