How to turn on HTTPS for your blog site
If you want people to access your blog via HTTPS, you can enable HTTPS and HTTPS redirection.
If you want people to access your blog via HTTPS, you can enable HTTPS and HTTPS redirection.
There are three main benefits when people access your blog using HTTPS instead of HTTP:
- Help check whether visitors are accessing the site correctly or if they are redirected to another malicious site.
- Help detect if someone is trying to change any data sent from Blogger to visitors.
- Adding security measures, making it difficult for others to eavesdrop on visitors' conversations, track their activity or steal their information.
Steps to enable HTTPS for your blog:
- Log in to Blogger.
- Click the down arrow at the top left
- Select the blog that will update.
- In the left menu, click Settings and choose Basic .
- On the right, in the " HTTPS " and " HTTPS Availability " options, select Yes.
Note: If you do not use a custom domain name for your blog, HTTPS will automatically be enabled for your blog and HTTPS settings will be hidden.
Steps to turn on HTTPS redirection
When you enable HTTPS redirection, visitors will access your encrypted blog version at https: // .blogspot.com.
- Log in to Blogger.
- Click the down arrow at the top left
- Select the blog that will update.
- In the left menu, click Settings and choose Basic.
- On the right, in the " HTTPS " and " HTTPS Redirect " options, select Yes.
