How to Search Websites with Google

Use Google

Open Google. Go to https://www.google.com/ using a web browser.

Click the search bar. You'll see this tool in the middle of the page.

Specify what you want to search on a particular page. Type site:in the search bar.

Enter a web address without the "www" part. You need to enter the information immediately after the tag site:and do not add spaces.

For example, to search on Facebook, you would type site:facebook.com.

Press spacebar. This will add a space between the web address and what is entered immediately afterwards.

Enter the word or sentence you want to find. It's whatever you want to use to search the web.

For example, to search for "discount accessories" on Facebook, your search would be site:facebook.com phụ kiện giảm giá.

India ↵ Enter. This will initiate the search; When the search results page is displayed, you will only see results that match your search and are on the specified website.

Using Google Chrome

Open  Google Chrome. Click or double-click the Chrome app with the red, yellow, green, and blue circle icon.

Click the address bar. This is the input field at the top of the browser window.

Delete the content in the search bar (if any) before continuing.

Enter the web address. Enter the address of the website you want to find information about. Remember to add the "www" section of the site here.

For example, to search on Facebook, you would type www.facebook.com.

Find the information line "Press Tab to search" (Press Tab to search). In the right corner of the search bar, you will see a message instructing you to press the key to search the website.Tab ↹

If you don't see this line, you can't search for information on the site using Google Chrome's address bar. You can still use Google to search the site.

Press key . Tab ↹If you see the message "Press Tab to search", pressing the key will conduct a search on the specified website.Tab ↹

Enter the word or sentence you want to find. This is any content you want to use to search the site.

India ↵ Enter. This will search for the word or sentence on the specified web page, and you will see matching search results.
