How to post photos to Instagram directly from Adobe Lightroom
Adobe Lightroom is an image editing tool used by professional photographers. Instagram is the leading photo sharing social network. However, there is no way to directly post photos to Instagram from Lightroom unless you use third-party Lightroom plug-in to connect the two services together. This article will show you how to post photos to Instagram directly from Lightroom using third party tools.
How to post photos to Instagram from Lightroom
LR / Instagram helps you work on Lightroom and then post photos directly to your Instagram account. One thing to note is that Adobe Lightroom is currently Adobe Lightroom Classic CC. Install plug-in on Lightroom using Lightroom Extensions Manager.
Step 1: Download the LR / Instagram plug-in to the desktop.
Step 2: Extract the downloaded file and then run Adobe Lightroom Classic CC> File> Plug-in Manager.
Step 3 : Click Add and browse to the plug-in file on the desktop. The installer will appear a list of plug-ins and add-ons.
Step 4: After importing the image, go to Publish Services which currently has LR / Instagram.
Step 5 : Click Set up to launch Lightroom Publishing Manager and the Settings panel for plug-ins.
Step 6: Connect with Instagram with your login ID and password. Tweak plug-ins from Preferences .
For example, you can upload up to five photos at a time, select the When removing photos option, not delete from Instagram to preserve the downloaded image after deleting the original image from Lightroom's Publish section. Optional Force padding to square as a thumbnail in the Instagram grid appears with a square cut. You can cut to the supported frame rates on Instagram.
LR / Instagram has a metadata table to add the hashtag and caption before posting to Instagram. Alternatively, you can choose a custom template in Lightroom to specify a card usage format.
After you have prepared the image in Lightroom, you just need to add the image to the publishing collection. From Grid , drag and drop photos on LR / Instagram in Publish Services , then click Publish button on the right side on the center interface and now your photos have been uploaded to Instagram.
This plug-in gives you the freedom to edit numerous photos in Lightroom and post photos to Instagram.
