How to decrypt encrypted files, recover data encrypted by Ransomware
Launched less than a year ago, the No More Ransom project (NMR) has attracted more partners and has a new unlocked file decoding tool added to its collection, increasing power. for the campaign against the global Ransomware that it launched.
Starting as a Europol joint initiative, Dutch National Police, Intel Security and Kaspersky Lab, No More Ransome called for cooperation to fight Ransomware, helping victims recover their encrypted data without paying Ransom for hackers.

Since December 2016, more than 10,000 victims around the world have been able to decode encrypted devices and files at no cost, using the free decoding tool of this project. Statistics show that most site visitors come from Russia, the Netherlands, the United States, Italy and Germany.
This platform is currently available in 14 languages and contains 40 free decoding tools, provided by a variety of member organizations, making it easier for users to decrypt files locked by Ransomware.
Up to now, NMR has more than 30 new organizations, including leading names in antivirus industry such as Avast, Bitdefender, Kaspersky Lab, CERT Polska or Eleven Paths (Telefonica Cyber Security Unit) or even Law enforcement forces of Australia, Belgium, Israel, Korea, Russia or Interpol. This not only shows the credibility that NMR has created, but also shows that Ransomware is becoming a problem of global network security and requires the cooperation of many organizations and individuals to work together against them.

- Eleven Paths: Telefonica Cyber Security Unit: Popcorn Decryptor.
- Emsisoft: Crypton Decryptor and Damage Decryptor.
- Kaspersky Lab: Updates on Rakhni and Rannoh Decryptors.
Besides the available languages like English, French, Russian, Korean, Japanese, . many other languages will soon be added to support victims around the world.
