Firefox launched two new utilities, Price Wise and Email Tabs

Mozilla has just launched two tests for the Test Pilot program on its Firefox browser.

Price Wise is a price tracking utility that helps users keep track of product prices on the sites they choose to know when they're off.

Email Tabs is an add-on option to copy multiple open tabs to Clipboard or email.

Mozilla launched Test Pilot in 2016 to test its Firefox-related initiatives. The purpose of Test Pilot is to determine whether new features should be added to Firefox or just as an extension.

Some other test projects also include the Page Shot, or Tracking Protection, Firefox Container screen capture tools, which were eventually added to Firefox. And the names like Snooze Tabs or No More 404s eventually failed.

Price Wise

Price Wise is a price tracking utility on Firefox, supported sites including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Best Buy and Home Depot. 'Price Wise discovered when prices dropped on Amazon, Best Buy, eBay, Home Depot and Walmart sites. When you see a price drop, Price Wise will notify users on the browser.

Easily track product prices when reduced

The utility only supports .com versions of e-commerce sites, for example, country pages like ebay.co.uk or amazon.de will not be supported. Users can add products to the tracking product list by selecting the widget icon, select Add.

Price Wise lists all the products that have been added to the utility interface, announcing when prices fall. Clicking on the product will open the shopping page. At present, Price Wise has not many options, cannot set the desired price or compare prices.

Email Tabs

Email Tabs is the 2nd widget released today, used to copy multiple tabs, or all open tabs into Clipboard or email. 'If you ever want to save or share multiple tabs while searching, shopping or sharing, use Email Tabs to automatically send links, screenshots, and even paragraphs of text in the article'.

Save tabs at once

Email integration uses forms to display links beautifully. Currently this utility only supports Gmail. There is a choice of Yahoo Mail and Outlook but not yet available.
