Mozilla launched Test Pilot in 2016 to test its Firefox-related initiatives. The purpose of Test Pilot is to determine whether new features should be added to Firefox or just as an extension.

Some other test projects also include the Page Shot, or Tracking Protection, Firefox Container screen capture tools, which were eventually added to Firefox. And the names like Snooze Tabs or No More 404s eventually failed.

Price Wise

Price Wise is a price tracking utility on Firefox, supported sites including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Best Buy and Home Depot. 'Price Wise discovered when prices dropped on Amazon, Best Buy, eBay, Home Depot and Walmart sites. When you see a price drop, Price Wise will notify users on the browser.
