Cut and assemble movies with Windows Movie Maker

Windows XP and Vista operating systems have an easy-to-use video processing tool, Windows Movie Maker. We can easily cut and assemble to create new videos through this tool.

Start the WMM program by pressing the Start Programs Windows Movie Maker button . In the top left pane, Movie Tasks click on the Import video text, pointing to the location of the available video file that we want to impact. This file will be included in the Collections frame in the middle and will be split into several small clips, each of which is only a few tens of seconds or more in a few minutes.

From Collections, click to select the appropriate clips, you can click to preview in the right frame. Once you have selected the clip, click and drag it down to the Storyboard / Show Timeline frame below.

You can choose to add another video in the above order and then continue to select clips from this second video to pull down the Storyboard / Show Timeline to connect with the first video clips. Similarly with the third and fourth videos .

Cut and assemble movies with Windows Movie Maker Picture 1 Name the product video by going to Movie Tasks at the top, left click on Make titles or credit. A new frame will appear and ask Where do you want to add a title? Which means you want to put the title in any position with the options:

+ title at the beginning : at the beginning of the movie
+ title before the selected clip : Prev the user-selected clip
+ title on the selected clip : Right in the selected clip
+ title after các chọn được chọn : behind selected clip
+ Credit at the end : Introduce at the end of the movie

Click to select the appropriate title, the Enter Text for Title box appears, type the required information in this frame. Drag down the slider to see other effects that we can create for the subject line at the More option :

+ Change the title animation : Motion effects of character lines. When choosing this, the Choose the Title Animation box appears with lots of effects listed below. Clicking on any effect will be presented to us in the right frame

+ Change the text font and color : Change the size, color of the character, select the font type, choose the position to appear, select the background color .

After you have prepared, click the menu File Save movie file (or Ctrl + P key combination). Only save location and wait a bit to receive the product.
