General Rules of Crime Scene Zero

Every game in Crime Scene Zero follows the same basic pattern:

  1. A detective, a detective assistant and five potential suspects
  2. Each person plays a character with a pre-established plot and alibi.
  3. Everyone must tell the truth – except the real culprit, who might lie.
  4. Finally, players will vote for who they believe is the killer.
  5. The suspect with the most votes is arrested. If found guilty, each player who voted for that suspect receives two million won (about $1,500). If found innocent, the murderer receives the full prize of 10 million won (about $7,200).

In each scenario in each episode of Crime Scene Zero, all participants take on the role of a new group - people related to the victim. All members try to uncover clues and get to the bottom of the mystery. Each scenario is told over two episodes, and each episode is over an hour long. So, it is clear that viewers need to be patient to watch all the episodes to find out the truth and come to a conclusion.

Crime Scene Zero is extremely light-hearted, with most of the clues being obvious and scattered throughout. The contestants don't have to dig too deep to find any clues, which takes away from the mystery of the situation. On the other hand, while it has its moments, the sometimes overly light-hearted situations of the contestants can be a turn-off for the more squeamish viewer.

Of course, it can be said that this is not a horror movie but a rather unique comedy series. It combines many genres and brings silly conversations that will make you laugh at times. The scenes are perfectly designed, although sometimes a bit childish, but they are extremely interesting. The format of the show can be a bit confusing at first, but it will be quite interesting after you get used to it.
