- Ward Armor Trim forging pattern: Appears in Ancient Cities with a 4.8% chance.

Method 2: Replicating the forging pattern

Despite being difficult to find, crafting templates only serve to decorate armor and upgrade equipment. Therefore, Minecraft allows you to use one existing crafting template to duplicate an identical one. This means you only need to find one item of each crafting template to use as many as you want without worrying about running out.

To duplicate a forging pattern, you need one forging pattern, seven diamonds, and one block compatible with that pattern. Each type of forging pattern is compatible with a different block, specifically:

- The Netherite Upgrade forging requires Infernal Stone.
- The Coast Armor Trim forging requires Cobblestone.
- The Dune Armor Trim forging requires Sandstone.
- The Eye Armor Trim forging requires Endstone.

If you have enough materials, you can duplicate the forging pattern by placing the forging pattern in the center of the top row, with a block corresponding to the forging pattern in the middle and the rest being diamonds.
