Compare the battery life of current flagship models

TechNick, a famous YouTuber, recently conducted a comprehensive battery drain test on 7 current leading flagship models to see the actual usage time of these devices.

The main factor affecting battery life is the smartphone's hardware. 7 flagship models participating in the test include:

  1. Samsung S24 Ultra: 5000mAh battery and equipped with 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
  2. Huawei Pura 70 Ultra: 5200mAh battery, 7nm Kirin chipset.
  3. iPhone 15 Pro Max: Battery is 4441mAh with advanced 3nm Apple Bionic chipset.
  4. Xiaomi 14 Ultra: 5000mAh battery and 4nm Snapdragon processor.
  5. Vivo X100 Ultra: 5500mAh battery with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
  6. Vivo X100 Pro: 5400mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity 9300 4nm chip.
  7. Honor Magic 6 Pro: 5600mAh battery, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 4nm chipset.

These flagship models are subjected to a series of demanding tasks including high-quality video playback, benchmarking, video recording, gaming, and other resource-intensive applications.

Test results showed that Xiaomi 14 Ultra was the first to surrender, after a long time of 7 hours and 23 minutes. A disappointing number.

Following closely behind is the Vivo X100 Ultra with a time of 8 hours and 46 minutes and the Samsung S24 Ultra with a time of 9 hours and 12 minutes. The iPhone 15 Pro Max and Vivo X100 Pro were no better with 10 hours and 17 minutes.

Huawei Pura 70 Ultra, despite having a smaller battery than Vivo X100 Ultra, Vivo minute. This unexpected performance of Huawei Pura 70 Ultra proves its effective power management, software optimization and Kirin chip technology.

The Honor Magic 6 Pro comes in at the top with 11 hours and 5 minutes.
