Haupt created a homemade circuit board with a modern mobile communication chip and a large antenna. Then she attached a dial that was taken from a Western Electric Trimline. Finally, she placed them in a shell made with 3D printers.
The size of this phone is quite large but it is still light enough for you to hold and make a long call without tired hands.
Haupt also integrated a few more features for this rudimentary phone including programmable keys to call a certain number, a 10-LED signal meter, a small ePaper display to display information. message as a missed call.
