Apple will accept the repair of the iPhone's replacement batteries

According to Apple's internal documents, the technology giant has now agreed to allow its authorized service providers to take care of iPhone users who have replaced and used their batteries. Third company, if the customer's iPhone had voluntarily repaired and replaced any parts not supplied by Apple, the carrier's service had been refused.

With the new policy, if the customer's iPhone is using a third-party battery, Apple technicians will still receive the repair. The repair service will only involve monitors, circuit boards, speakers, microphones and other components, of course, excluding third-party batteries.

If a third-party battery in a user's iPhone has problems such as a broken, bulging, or empty battery, Apple technicians will also accept a genuine new Apple battery. Battery replacement price is still within the company's standard of 79 USD.

This is not the first time Apple has changed its rigid repair policy. In 2017, Apple also approved repairs for iPhones using third-party screens.

Apple's change of its repair policy gives users more options to repair their iPhones. Users will have the opportunity to replace a new battery that ensures quality and safety provided by Apple if it misses a non-genuine battery.
