Can iPhone 2019 work normally under water?

The current iPhone has Apple equipped with water resistance, but if the touch screen of the device is wet, it cannot be used. The next generation of iPhones can change this.

According to information shared by Max Weinbach - a member of XDA Developers forum, iPhone 2019 or iPhone 11 will be equipped with Underwater Mode - Underwater mode, allowing users to easily manipulate even when device in water.

Max Weinbach added that Apple has been patented for Underwater Mode technology. In addition, Haptic Engine tactile feedback technology will also be upgraded. Apple will divide the iPhone screen into 9 areas, only the area that is pressed and held will vibrate instead of shaking the whole machine as it is now.

Previously, many leaked information also revealed that iPhone 11 will have a 3-camera system, protruding on the back and using USB-C.

Ming-chi Kuo, 'expert rumor' also made his prediction about the iPhone 2019. He said that the new generation of iPhone will have 3 sizes including 2 OLED panels, iPhone XI 5, 8 inch, 6.4 inch iPhone XI Max and 6.1 inch iPhone XR (2019) still use LCD panel.

Compared to rivals, Apple is more sluggish in bringing water-resistant iPhone capabilities. While Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S5 with IP67 waterproof capability since 2014, Apple only did the same thing two years later for iPhone 7.
