On Emoji with two people holding hands, the Emoji menu now allows users to choose the skin color of each person.
Clear Siri recording history
After a scandal involving Apple eavesdropping on Siri recordings, iOS 13.2 added a feature that allows users to delete Siri history and recordings on Apple servers. Users also have the option of not sending voice recordings when using Siri to Apple servers (meaning refusing to participate in the Siri improvement program).
Continue to correct a series of errors
The following is a list of issues that Apple has fixed on iOS 13.2:
- Fixes an issue that could prevent password autocompletion in 3rd party applications
- Resolved an issue that could prevent the keyboard from appearing when using Search
- Resolved an issue where swiping to return to the home screen might not work on iPhone X or later
- Fix an issue where Messages only sent a single notification when the alert repeat option was enabled
- Resolved an issue where Messages could display a phone number instead of a contact name
- Solve an issue that caused Contacts to launch to previously opened contacts instead of contacts
- Fixes an issue that could prevent the saving of Bookmark notes
- Resolve an issue where saved notes may temporarily disappear
- Fix an issue where iCloud Backup might not complete successfully after touching Backup now in Settings
- Improve performance when using AssistiveTouch to activate the Application Switcher
Users can upgrade to iOS 13.2 by going to Settings> General Settings> Software updates.
