Apple launches AppleCare One: integrated warranty package for multiple devices

AppleCare One is Apple's new warranty plan that allows users to protect multiple devices with a single subscription. For $19.99/month, users can cover up to three devices. If they want to add more devices, Apple charges $5.99/month for each additional product. AppleCare One will officially be available in the US starting tomorrow, with the option to enroll directly on the Apple device or at Apple Stores.

According to Apple, using AppleCare One saves about $11/month compared to subscribing to the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch separately. Notably, users can add to this package even devices that are beyond the (normal) 60-day subscription period, as long as they are in "good" condition and not more than 4 years old.

AppleCare One also makes it easier to manage your plan. For example, when you upgrade your covered iPhone, your old device will automatically be removed from the plan and replaced with your new iPhone. Additionally, you can keep coverage on as many devices as you want for an additional $5.99/month for each device over the standard three-device limit.

Bob Borchers, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, said:

Building on the trusted foundation of AppleCare+, AppleCare One extends that protection and makes it easier than ever to protect the products you love like iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, combining simplicity with exceptional value.

For those who don't know, AppleCare+ is a service that provides:
