An ancient urban area found in the eastern part of the ancient city of Serdica during the construction of Sofia's Serdica cinema has received the attention of archaeologists.

In this ancient metropolis, the team found outside Vassil Levski Monument six family tombs and 20 strange tombs were found and they were badly damaged due to the construction process. The city began to develop in this area in the 20th century.

The entire bones discovered in this ancient urban area will be conducted carbon analysis to clarify more about the ancient urban area. There is no information or decision about the preservation of this work yet.
