Amazon's new blockchain service competes with Oracle and IBM

Amazon Web Services recently announced the launch of Blockchain Templates, a competitive blockchain service with similar products from Orable and IBM. This further shows his great ambition in the blockchain race, even if their customers are still struggling to find out exactly how bockchain can help them.

'Some people I've talked to see blockchain as the foundation for a new monetary system and a way to support the payment system. Oracle launched its built-in cloud service on the open source project Hyperledger Fabric at Oracle OpenWorld and about a year later, IBM announced the blockchain service (Blockchain as a Service - BaaS) based on its own Hyperledger.

Another rival in the BaaS market is Huawei when it announced that Blockchain Service was built based on Hyperledger at the Shenzhen event. Along with other Chinese companies Baidu and Tencent, they also join the blockchain platform.
