Actually the new Aspire Ethos line from Acer

Aspire Ethos has the design and features for maximum entertainment needs but the starting price is up to 1,655 USD.

Ethos is the latest high-end entertainment series to be marketed by Acer. The first two products of the series introduced are the 5943G (15.6-inch screen) and 8943G (18.4-inch screen) and the Dolby Surround 2.1 or up to 5.1 system in the 8943G model. The duo will be officially available on the market this June.

With basic configuration including Intel Core i5 processor, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB hard drive, Blu-ray optical drive, users will pay about 1,655 USD.

8943G owns screen size of 18 inches, resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, standard Full HD 1080p.

With minimal selection, users will own hardware including Intel Core i5 processor, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB hard drive, Blu-ray optical drive (cost about 1,655 USD).

This model can also be upgraded to Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB RAM and 1.2 TB hard drive.

Ethos series will have the option of ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850 or 5650 graphics card with 1GB VRAM.
