Netbooks using AMD Athlon Neo chips weigh less than 1.5 kg

Asus Eee PC 1201T weighs less than 1.5 kg and the battery life is up to 6 hours continuously.

The new model introduced by Asus owns a 12.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1,366 × 768 pixels and a hardware configuration including a 1.6 GHz AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 processor, ATI graphics chip. Radeon HD 3200, 2GB RAM and 160 GB hard drive.

Asus Eee PC 1201T also comes with features like standard Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth, LAN, 3 USB ports, VGA, SDHC memory card reader and 0.3 Megapixel camera.

The device weighs 1.45 kg, comes with a 6-cell battery for manufacturer's battery life of up to 6 hours continuously.

Asus Eee PC 1201T has now started selling in the US for $ 389.
