This model was awarded the Design & Innovation Awards at Computex in Taipei in early June.
Unlike Alienware's gaming models, the Acer Aspire 8943G looks neat and polite, with a gray metal case, black trackpad and chicklet keyboard. The trackpad of the device has both a normal function and a separate control device for media tasks, such as viewing photos, movies or adjusting music.
Acer calls Aspire 8943G a top entertainment center because it contains a gray metal shell that is a very powerful gaming machine, Intel Core i7 processor - 720QM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD5850 graphics card, 1GB of RAM up to 16 GB and 500 GB hard drive.
The screen of Aspire 8943G reaches 18.4 inches, supporting 1080p HD content well. 5.1 Dolby Digital speakers, Acer's CineSurround technology, ensure the presentation of movies or games is monumental.
This game machine is equipped with Acer battery 6000 mAh (8 cells), so it can be used continuously for 4, 5 hours. Weight of the device including battery up to 4.5 kg.
Acer said the Aspire 8943G will be available first in the US for an estimated price of $ 1,549.
