According to Tech2 , market research company IDC said, Windows users will not be anxious to upgrade to Windows 8 when the product is launched. Many manufacturers will also use Windows 8 when launching new products around August next year. The reason IDC has such predictions is because the Metro interface of Windows 8 is only suitable for tablets. Microsoft has also invested heavily in this interface, but it has no effect on traditional computer models.
The former " software giant " once promised that it would change the way Windows 8 works on regular computers. This will only be revealed when the first beta of Windows 8 launched in early 2012. According to IDC, many of Microsoft's business customers have just finished updating the operating system to Windows 7 and the upgrade. A new version may not satisfy them.
Windows 8 is the latest version and has the same interface as the operating system on the tablet. This new product is intended to compete directly with iOS and Android.
