Windows 8 is the most important product in Microsoft history

The CEO of the US software company is confident that Windows 8 also marks a more successful milestone than the "95" Windows 95.

"Windows 95 is the biggest thing we have done in the last 20 years. However, I think Windows 8 will surely surpass it," said Steve Ballmer in an interview with The Seattle Times. Microsoft's chief executive confidently said that he had no idea other than success that would come with the new operating system coming out on October 26.

Steve Ballmer also predicts that nearly 400 million computers will be shipped worldwide next year. And this big market will be strongly promoted by Windows 8 agents.
