The main character Honor Magic V, has a simple metallic gray color but feels solid and luxurious. When folded, this phone looks like a regular smartphone.

The external screen of Honor Magic V uses a 21: 9 aspect ratio with a diagonal size of 6.45 inches slightly larger than that of the Galaxy Z Fold3 (25: 9 aspect ratio of 6.2 inches). This gives the same feeling of use as a regular smartphone, which promises to be more comfortable than the folding screen competitor from Samsung. The punch-hole here is the 48MP camera.

When unfolded, Honor Magic V has a screen size of up to 7.9 inches. This screen is equipped with notable parameters such as using a 7.9-inch flexible OLED panel, has a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2272 x 1984px. The aspect ratio here is 10.3:9, divided into two areas roughly equal to the previous screen.

It is equipped with the most powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip available today while other folding competitors only use Snapdragon 888. It also comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB memory options. Right out of the box, Honor Magic V is covered with Magic UI 6.0 based on Android 12.
