Top 7 best games inspired by movies
1. Marvel's Avengers
Although Marvels' Avengers wasn't based entirely on Marvel's billion-dollar movie, it took a lot from it. In addition to Kamala Khan, you have the ability to meet with famous Avengers heroes such as Thor, Hulk, Iron Man, Black Widow and Captain America.
In the Campaign mode, you'll spend your time gathering Avengers members, battling bad guys in familiar locations. Each hero you control has its own skills, and unlocking them all will be what attracts you most of all.
2. Jurassic World Evolution
Jurassic World Evolution is the best you'd expect from a game inspired by Jurassic Park. This is a simulation game created by Frontier Developments, the studio behind the recently released Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo. In the game, you run a dinosaur park spread across five islands.
Of course, it's not just another version of Planet Coaster. Evolution stars the voices of Jeff Goldblum, Bryce Dallas Howard, and BD Wong, and also focuses on three separate skill trees: Science, Entertainment, and Security. Although simulating a dinosaur amusement park is hard to do, Evolution has done it.
3. Middle-earth: Shadow of War
Like 'Star Wars', there are plenty of 'Lord of the Rings' games, most of which aren't very good. However, two Middle-earth games, Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War, are not on the list above. In both games, you'll play as Talion, a warrior whose soul is linked to the leprechaun lord Celebrimbor. Unsurprisingly, your goal is simply to stop Sauron.
4. John Wick Hex
John Wick Hex is a timeline strategy game, in between each level, you have time to pause to plan your next action. You'll choose where you want to move and what actions to take, and once you do, time moves on. That means you can hardly be as 'brutal' as John Wick, even in a video game.
5. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
At the time, pairing a billion-dollar series like Star Wars with developer BioWare was considered ineffective. However, BioWare quickly proved that was not the case. Knight of the Old Republic pretty much shows that video games based on movies can offer the same depth and complexity as a movie.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is set in the Old Republic, 4,000 years before the Galactic Empire came to power. You play as a Jedi on a multi-planetary mission to overthrow Darth Malak.
6. Mad Max
Mad Max is not based on any particular movie in the series, although it was released shortly after Fury Road hit theaters. It is an open world action adventure game based on the foundations of Assassin's Creed and Batman: Arkham Asylum. You play as Max Rockatansky, a former highway patrol officer searching for fuel for his Interceptor. The focus of the game is on vehicle combat. As you travel around the wilderness, you can find new items to equip your vehicle, making it stronger, faster, and more deadly.
7. Blair Witch
Blair Witch was announced and released in 2019 without much media element. You play as Ellis Lynch, a military veteran and former police officer, engaged in the search for a missing child deep in Burkittsville, Maryland's Black Hills Forest. The dog Bullet, your companion, is essential to the end of the game.
Blair Witch's focus is largely on exploration. You will go through the forest and solve puzzles that appear along the way. But Bullet is very important for your survival. The dog tracks scents, helps you protect items and determines your health. You must keep Bullet with you or you will suffer a terrible fate.
