Instructions on how to bold headings in Word
Step 1:
In Word, press Ctrl + H to open the Find and Replace interface. In the new interface, under "Find what," enter the heading you want to highlight as ^#:. Under " Replace with," click the "More" button below.
Step 2:
In the expanded list, users select Format and then select Font to adjust the settings.
Step 3:
In the new interface, select the font you want and choose bold formatting , or any other formatting style you prefer. Continue selecting additional formatting styles for the headings you need, then click OK to save.

Step 4:
In the "Replace with " field , enter ^& and then click "Replace All" below to apply the changes.

If your entry contains two digits , press Ctrl + H again, then in the Find what field , replace it with ^#^#: and then press Replace All .
