Windows 11's DRR refresh rate dynamically adjusts the refresh rate based on the tasks you're performing. With either refresh rate mode (60Hz or 120Hz), the display refreshes at 60Hz when you're doing typical productivity tasks like sending emails, writing documents, etc. For activities like gaming, scrolling, and watching videos, the display switches to 120Hz for a more stable experience. Here's how to change the Windows 11 refresh rate.
How to change Windows 11 refresh rate via Settings
Step 1:
Go to Settings , then click on System on the left side of the interface to adjust.
Step 2:
Look at the content next to you and click on Display to adjust.
Then you scroll down and click on Advanced display to adjust.
Step 3:
In the Advanced display settings interface, at Choose a refresh rate we will change the Windows 11 refresh rate . Currently the default speed is Dynamic (60 Hz or 120 Hz), we can change to another speed we need.
How to enable or disable refresh rate in Intel Graphics Command Center
Laptops equipped with Intel processors have the ability to enable refresh rate via Intel Graphics Command. However, Dynamic Refresh Rate Switching is only available on 10th Gen Intel® Processors and above using DisplayPort.
In the search bar on Windows 11, type the keyword Intel Graphics Command Center and click to access. Next, click System and select the Power tab to adjust.
