After receiving an error message in some AC Adapter sources that could cause electric shock to endanger users, Sony conducted the recall of some of its 69,000 AC Adapter sources.

Sony's VGP-AC19V17 AC Adapter sample error
The faulty source is VGP-AC19V17 for the all-in-one VAIO desktop (VGC-LT and VGC-JS2 series) as well as VAIO workstation systems (model VGP-PRBX1 and VGP-PRFE1) .
All these sources are sold through SonyStyle store system as well as electronic component retailers and business agents from September 2005 to October 2009.
Sony recommends that if users purchase the VGP-AC19V17 adapter power supply, stop using it immediately and contact Sony for a free replacement.
