A bug that arose in the recent One UI 7 beta has forced Samsung to delay the release by at least a week.

Previously, many people expected Samsung to officially launch the One UI 7 version this week. However, the latest information has dampened the excitement and disappointed fans. According to reliable source Ice Universe, Samsung will be forced to release the fourth beta of One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24 to address the screen color calibration issue that the third beta encountered, causing the screen to appear more yellow than expected.

The official version of One UI 7 is delayed again.

Samsung has not yet announced a specific time for the release of One UI 7 beta 4 or the stable version. Usually, the company takes about a week to release the stable version after the final beta is released. So if the fourth beta is released this week, Galaxy S24 users may have to wait at least another week to get the stable One UI 7 update.

One UI 7 is known to bring many major improvements to make the experience of using the phone smoother and more intuitive. Improved animations make switching between applications and multitasking easier.

The camera app has also been redesigned for a simpler and more streamlined experience, with easier switching between modes and zoom levels. In particular, Samsung has introduced the long-awaited vertical app tray.

One of the notable upgrades is the Now Bar, which allows useful information to be displayed right on the lock screen, including music, voice memos, a stopwatch, and reminders. This is reminiscent of Dynamic Island on Apple's modern iPhone models.

Lots of exciting features coming to One UI 7.

The update also introduces a split notification center and a Quick Settings panel that lets users swipe from the right to access Quick Settings and from the left to access the notification center. Samsung has also improved the battery indicator, redesigned icons for native apps, and provided more adaptive charging options, such as limiting charging to 80%. New widgets and Galaxy AI features are also added in this update.
