'With OnePlus it was just a phone but for me it was a life threatening incident,' she added, adding that she had reported the explosion to the company nearly a month ago.

She also added that another friend's OnePlus phone also exploded recently due to the battery. And as in their case, the OnePlus support team showed no interest in handling the situation she called a "life threatening incident".
OnePlus has not made any official comment yet. But when the case became known, they should soon investigate and explain the case.
