1. MacBook plastic shell version 2009

Apple blew a new life into its laptops this year with the MacBook version of the plastic case, multi-touch touchpad, good performance but cheap price. The performance of the new MacBook plastic is on par with that of the MacBook Pro, with the configuration of the Intel Core 2 Duo P7550 2.26 GHz CPU and 2 GB of RAM. The laptop runs multitasking very well, testing open multiple web browsers, opening multiple tabs with Safari 4, typing text on Google Docs, listening to music and watching online videos at the same time, the device runs smoothly. This version supports good graphics thanks to the discrete Nvidia GeForce 9400M 256 MB graphics card, similar to the MacBook Pro.

With a price of about $ 1,000 (on its homepage), the new plastic MacBook is quite competitive compared to other laptops running Windows 7 with the same configuration. In Vietnam, the 2009 plastic shell version with the above configuration costs about VND 21 million.

2. Sony Vaio X

First appearing at the Consumer Electronics Show (IFA) in Germany this September, the Vaio X version of Sony surprised viewers with a very light weight, less than 1 kg, with a battery of 4. cell. Due to the fashion segment, should carry the laptop, but Vaio X is equipped with Intel Atom Z series, a bit more powerful than the Atom N series on netbooks. Tests showed that the performance of the Vaio X was higher than netbooks, limited video processing and graphics, although viewing 720p HD movies was still smooth. If you only do basic office tasks, like Wi-Fi, text making, Sony Vaio X is completely mastered.

This X-series ultraportable laptop of Sony has been available in Vietnam market for nearly 27 million VND, while the published price of Sony overseas is 1,300 USD.

3. Dell Adamo XPS

Dell Adamo XPS is holding the world's thinnest laptop with the thickest edge of only 9.9 mm - thinner than the CD case. This XPS version also has a unique way of opening - using thermal sensors to open, so if there is no battery or power failure, it will not work.

Also in the fashion line like the Sony Vaio X, the Dell Adamo XPS configuration is not outstanding, with CPU CULV Intel Core 2 Duo 1.4 GHz, 4 GB DDR3 RAM and 128 GB SSD hard drive, included with the card Integrated graphics and LED screen 1,366 x 768 pixels.

This machine has not appeared in the domestic market, but in Singapore, the Adamo XPS is sold for $ 1,800, about 35 million.

4. HP Envy 15

The HP Envy 15 is one of the few laptops equipped with the newly released Intel Core i7 CPU and a 1GB ATI discrete graphics card, capable of smoothing out any media application. The actual performance of the Envy 15 outperformed the more powerful models like the Apple Macbook Pro and was about the same as the Alienware M15x gaming laptop, although, when produced, HP did not target Envy 15 to the gaming market, but only Simple lies in the entertainment laptop segment.

Despite the strong performance, the Envy 15 is not a bunker but very compact, weighing only 2.35 kg, 2.65 cm thick with a 15.6-inch screen. The case is made of magnesium and the art of decorative etching, chiclet-style keyboard with smooth and smooth keys.

The HP Envy 15 is available in Vietnam market around the end of November with an official retail price of up to 54 million VND for the configuration using Intel Core i7 820QM CPU 1.73 GHz, 8GB DDR3 RAM, HDD 500 GB, card 1 GB ATI graphics, included external Blu-ray drive and running Windows 7 operating system.
