The XPS 12 uses an IPS screen of 12.5 inches in Full HD resolution, weighing 1.52 kg and less than 25 mm thin. The frame is made of aluminum and the shell is made of carbon fiber just like on its previous XPS 13 model.

New version sold this month using Intel Core i7-3537U chip speed of 1.9 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD hard drive. The graphics processing chip of the machine is Intel HD 4000, the model has a 1.3 megapixel resolution camera in front of the screen.
