AMD introduces new generation Ryzen and Athlon processors
AMD has just joined with partners to introduce AMD Ryzen 4000 Series and AMD Athlon 3000 series laptop versions, in an online event on the afternoon of May 27.
AMD Ryzen 4000 Series Mobile is the world's first 8-core processor for the ultra-thin and light laptop segment, built on the breakthrough 7nm Zen 2 architecture, optimized in SoC design, promising to deliver unprecedented performance, significant performance improvements, and incredible power efficiency for ultra-thin notebooks as well as gaming laptops.
Featuring 8 cores and 16 threads, the AMD Ryzen 4000 U-Series provides high responsiveness and portability, delivering breakthrough performance for ultra-thin laptops with 15W (TDP) power consumption. In addition, targeting more than 90 million gamers and creators, the AMD Ryzen 4000 H-Series mobile processor is the new standard for mobile gaming and creative work, with a TDP of 45W. .
In particular, AMD Ryzen 7 4800U has 4% more single-thread performance and up to 90% more multi-threaded, 18% faster graphics performance than the competition. AMD Ryzen 7 4800H has 5% more single-thread performance and 46% multi-threaded, 25% faster 4K video encoding in the Adobe Premier application, and 39% greater in-game physical simulation performance compared to prime.
AMD also detailed AMD SmartShift technology, which allows users to maximize the performance of Ryzen 4000 with the latest Radeon graphics and the latest AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020, enhancing the experience by optimizing performance. productivity when you need to experience gaming to a new level.
