The starting price of Asus Taichi 21 is $ 1,300. Meanwhile, as expected, on October 23, Asus officially launched all of its Windows 8-based computers to users.
Asus Taichi 21 is equipped with an 11.6-inch IPS touch screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels supporting up to 10 fingers. This product uses DDR3 4 GB RAM memory and integrated Intel HD 4000 Graphics chip.
Users can choose from two types of processors including Intel Core i5-3317U clocked at 1.7 GHz and Core i7-3517U clocked at 1.9 GHz. In addition, customers can choose an SSD with either 128 GB or 256 GB capacity. The built-in Taichi 21 battery can work for 5 hours continuously. The machine weighs 1.25 kg.

In addition to Taichi 21, the Taiwanese manufacturer has just allowed to order another model of Windows 8 laptop called Vivobook. This product has a starting price of 599 USD (about 12.5 million VND) and is expected to be delivered to customers on October 26.
Vivobook is equipped with a Core i3-3217U processor clocked at 1.8 GHz. It has DDR3 4 GB RAM memory and integrated Intel HD 4000 Graphics. The 11.6-inch screen of this product has a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Asus Vivobook uses 500 GB hard drive. The machine works continuously for 5 hours.
