Netbook 'clamshell' second generation

Asus Eee PC Seashell 2 will surprise many people by the new design with brilliant pink - the work of designer Karim Rashid.

HardwareZone said Asus Eee PC Seashell 2 will be equipped with Intel Atom N450 CPU with a new Pine Trail platform, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD. The second generation "clamshell" netbook still carries the standard configuration of a popular netbook. But new to the design with removable battery panels placed completely in a closed compartment, similarly, the communication ports have protective caps.

According to Engadget, Eee PC Seashell 2 is the work of an Egyptian designer, studying in Canada and Italy, currently residing in the US and well-known in the world. The case is decorated with small floating rectangular pattern, quite familiar with the dress wallet of women. Asus's new netbook, code-named Eee PC 1008P, may appear at CES 2010 in the near future.
