Gateway introduced two versions of the ID series with ID49 respectively 14-inch version and ID59 owns 15.6-inch screen. These two machines are elegantly designed in classic style with a glossy black and silver-white body, and the new ID series also features chiclet distant film systems and is placed on a contrasting black background. The multi-point support touchpad is set to the left with a stylized left and right button area that only recognizes through two straight lines dividing the boundary. It is expected that these two versions will in turn be equipped with Core i3 and Core i5 processors, screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, 4GB RAM, 1.3 million pixel webcam and other basic connections.
Depending on the demand, the ID line may include a high-end version with a discrete NVIDIA graphics card, while allowing users to switch between a discrete card and an integrated card, depending on the need for higher graphics or more battery savings. .
Although there is no time to officially launch, these two versions will be announced at a price of about 679 USD and 799 USD.
