Mobile Firefox launches Alpha 2 beta

Mozilla has officially launched a second beta version of its mobile browser - codenamed Fennec Alpha 2.

Just like the Alpha 1 version, this release is only available for Maemo operating system applications on the Nokia N810 Internet Tablets. But Mozilla also offers N810 emulator application to help application developers can participate in Fennec testing on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

Mozilla said the main goal of launching a beta version of Alpha 2 is just to add a touchscreen support to the browser. In addition, the Fennec Alpha 2 version also supports faster scrolling and zooming of web pages, increased browsing speed, increased ease of use .

Notably, the new version Fennec also added the ability to browse the web via bookmarks, store web organized by keywords (tags), smart URL address bar, tabbed browsing (TAB) with images. shrink, quick access to many online search engines .

Users can download the Fennec Alpha 2 version for Nokia N810 Internet Tablets here and the version runs on Windows, Linux or Mac OS X.
