AVADirect launches a gaming laptop
AVADirect has officially sold two gaming laptops based on Intel's Calpella platform, B5130M and B7130. Both have Intel Core i5 / i7 processors (2.4GHz to 2.8GHz), up to 8 GB of RAM, and 500 GB of storage with a hard drive or 400 GB with an SSD.
The B5130M has a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels or 1920x1080 pixels, while the B7130 is a 17.3-inch display with a resolution of 1600x900 pixels. Both are equipped with discrete GeForce GT 425M graphics cards with 1 GB of memory and support nVidia Optimus technology for automatic switching between integrated graphics and discrete graphics cards.
The inside of the B5130M and B7130 also includes a DVD drive or Blu-ray drive, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, a multi-function memory card reader, and Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth and WiFi connections. Users can customize the operating system to install Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Linux.
