Louis Vuitton purchased 40 million masks of COVID-19 for France

The first order of 10 million units and will be taken in just a few days, then will be shipped to medical units to distribute to everyone early next week. The following batches will be paid for by the French government, which is collected in the following weeks. According to the announcement, the company has spent about 5.4 million Euro so the first order of masks can be produced quickly in the current scarcity. LVMH in the past weeks has also produced a large amount of hand sanitizer for free distribution to French hospitals.
