List of Samsung Galaxy smartphones that will stop software support in 2025
2025 is expected to be a year to look forward to for Samfans as many interesting products are expected to be launched by Samsung from now until the end of the year. However, there are also quite a few devices that will officially stop supporting software, or in other words, will be discontinued. Below is a list of Samsung Galaxy phone models that will end support this year. Note that this list may not be complete and will be updated over time.
What does 'end of support' mean?
Samsung is one of the smartphone manufacturers that offers the longest software support for its devices, especially its flagships. The latest Galaxy S25 series is a prime example, promising 7 years of OS updates. In other words, Samsung's flagship smartphones in 2025 will continue to receive One UI or Android upgrades until 2032.
However, once this period ends, the South Korean tech giant will no longer provide software support. In other words, Samsung will not provide any operating system updates or feature additions to these smartphones, except in some special cases, such as urgent security-related cases.
