Launch of Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2
Starting with the display, both Realme 13 Pro and Pro+ have the same 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 2000 nits maximum brightness.
The frame of both devices is made of aluminum and the material on the back is made of glass. Realme says the glass has a special design with many sparkling particles, making this device different from its competitors.
In terms of performance, both devices have Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, which needs no further introduction. This is an 8-core SoC with 4 Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.4 GHz and 4 Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.95 GHz. The product is manufactured on TSMC's 4nm process, known for its perfect balance between performance and efficiency.
Camera is the first big difference between the two devices. Realme 13 Pro has a dual camera setup with a 50MP wide-angle Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The rear camera comes with a 32 MP front camera.
On the other hand, Realme 13 Pro+ has an additional Sony LYT-701 50 MP secondary camera while the main camera LYT-600 acts as a periscope lens. Both cameras have OIS, the ultra-wide-angle camera is also present and so is the front 32 MP selfie camera.
The battery on both the 13 Pro and Pro+ is 5200 mAh, but the difference lies in the charging speed. The standard 13 Pro charges at 45W while the Pro+ charges at 80W.
Both phones are IP65 waterproof and come with Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 out of the box. Realme has also heavily marketed the AI features that come with the device. One of the big downsides is that both don't have NFC.
In terms of storage options, both devices have a base 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. Higher-end variants boast up to 512GB storage and 12GB RAM.
Realme 13 Pro comes in 3 colors - Monet Gold, Monet Purple and Emerald Green. The base 8GB + 256GB variant starts at Rs 26,999. The 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB versions are priced at Rs 28,999 and Rs 31,999 respectively.
The Pro+ comes in two colors - Monet Gold and Emerald Green, the base version with 12GB + 256GB is priced at Rs 34,999. The 12GB + 512GB version is priced at Rs 36,999.
Both phones and all versions will go on sale on Realme and Flipkart on August 6 at 12 noon.
